At Martins Mill Packaging we understand how important it is to use the right type of packaging at the right cost. Some of the most frequently asked questions we get are concerned with the types of cardboard boxes we offer and what they are most suitable for. Here, we describe five of our most commonly used boxes in detail to help you decide which kind is best for you:

  1. Packing Carton

This is the most common kind of industry packing case. This type of box can be produced to a tailored length, depth and width depending on individual requirements as well as branded with your company’s name or logo if desired.

  1. Archive Box

If you require a box for document storage within your business, this is the kind to use. Archive boxes usually come as a box with a separate lid. They are ideal for storing paperwork for long periods of time and can easily be stacked on top of one another.

  1. Packing Wallet

For shallow items, a packing wallet is often the best solution. These types of box are delivered flat pack and then constructed around the product which is being packaged by folding the box around it.

  1. Shelf Ready Box

These kinds of boxes are ideal for displaying several of the same item on a shelf in retail outlets. As with a packing carton, this kind of box can be produced using bespoke measurements to fit a specific product.

  1. Five Panel Wrap

For long and narrow items a five panel wrap can be used to protect the product. This style of box comes as flat pack and needs taping once it has been assembled.
